As a big thankyou for all your support over the last few events, our next Sumo gig will be a free party!
We’re starting early (8pm) to coincide with the close of the Riverside festival so if you’ve been out on the Quay enjoying the music you can carry right on with us at Sumo.
Our guest for the evening will be DJ Ferg (Krunch, Elemental). Ferg has been a house music fanatic since you were knee high to a grasshopper and we’re chuffed to have him alongside us for another night of funked up deep down underground house shenanigans.
babble dj’s Damien Bailey, Mono and Lobstafari complete the lineup. Full soundsystem.

Hold on to your hats, here comes the next installment of funked up fun! We’re back at Sumo on Saturday the 26th of March with special guests from the legendary Smokescreen Soundsystem: Rockin’ Rob and Tom Special Interest (Phobic Recordings head honcho). Rocking the dancefloor along side them will be our very own Debs and Rob Forreal; Dee-P will be showcasing a few of his own productions to kick off the night, so get down early!
As usual we’ll be cramming the venue with the heavy babble soundsystem guaranteeing bass to vibrate your soul, along with extra decor and lighting too.
To top it all off we’ll be partying extra hard to celebrate some special birthdays (hello Jemma!), don’t miss this one as it promises to be a corker..
9pm-3am, as usual £5 before 10pm or £6 afterwards. Sumo is on Braunstone Gate, Leicester.
We’re back at Sumo at the start of February.. after the riproaring fun we had at the birthday party its time to polish up your dancing clogs again!

It’s babble’s 17th birthday, and have we got a stompin night of proper house music lined up for you!
We’re properly excited to be joined on the decks by Sonny Fodera. Sonny has had a hand in many of the best releases on the house scene over the last year, and there aren’t many djs without at least one of his irresistible productions in their bag. For a flavour of his dancefloor rockin style checkout his mixes on soundcloud.
We’ll be cramming the full soundsystem into Sumo on braunstone gate so you can soak your bones in some deep groovin house vibrations, along with extra lights and decor for the full babble flavour.
The fun kicks off at 9pm, get down early if you can! £5 before 10pm £6 afterwards.
babble will be appearing at the Lestival on the 31st July at the Music Cafe, just off Braunstone Gate.
Jonna from CityFly and Jammy Gee will be joining babble djs to provide you with some top quality tunes.
Festivities kick off outside around mid-day with Doji providing the entertainment. babble will be setting up inside (full soundsystem) with house music starting around 9pm running through till 2am.
Its all for a good cause to raise money for LOROS so come down and get your groove on!
18 years of properly bad behavior are highly likely to continue as babble collective soundsystem reaches another milestone!
